Model: TGF3000-V1 | Max Temp: 1100°C (2000°F) | Power: 1800W | Weight: 7.5 kg | Material: Ceramic | Melting Time: 25–35 min | Voltage: 110V (US)
The TRF3000 melts a wide range of metals including aluminum, copper, silver, gold, lead, zinc, and brass. Ideal for jewelry making, scrap metal recycling, small-batch refining, hobby casting, and DIY metalworking.
The built-in PID digital temperature controller provides precise regulation and stable heating throughout the melting process, reducing temperature fluctuation for consistent results. Due to its 1800W heating power, a stable electrical supply is required. This unit uses a standard US 3-prong plug (Type A/B, 110V) — compatible with standard North American outlets. For best performance, use a 20A dedicated circuit and a 12AWG heavy-duty extension cord. Using an insufficient power supply may cause breaker trips or unstable heating.
The TRF3000 is designed for light-to-moderate hobby use and small-scale metalworking. To maximize lifespan: preheat the crucible gradually before use, avoid unnecessary overheating, apply borax coating when appropriate, and regularly inspect heating elements, temperature probes, and crucibles. Crucible lifespan varies by metal type and operating temperature — keep spare crucibles on hand for frequent projects.
The electric resistance heating design provides stable, flameless operation. However, molten metals reach extremely high temperatures and require strict safety precautions. Always wear heat-resistant gloves and eye or face protection. Operate on a stable, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area. Keep flammable materials away from the workspace. Outdoor or garage use is recommended whenever possible.
For best results: preheat the crucible before operation, apply borax coating when appropriate, use a dedicated 20A circuit with a 12AWG heavy-duty extension cord, select the correct crucible size for your material quantity, avoid unnecessary overheating, and always wear proper PPE.
