HOW TO USE THE COMPRESSION SYSTEM
- Load compressible clothing into the vacuum chamber (best for down jackets, padded layers, and cotton — note: jeans and heavily structured items compress less)
- Zip the chamber fully closed — ensure the zipper is completely sealed end to end
- Open the valve, then press air out firmly from bottom to top
- Twist the valve cap closed to seal
- Smooth the surface and keep the zipper flat to avoid bulging
To unpack: Open the valve first and allow 5–10 seconds for air to re-enter before unzipping. Do not force the zipper open while the chamber is still compressed.
Note: The airtight zipper requires more force to operate than a standard zipper — this is normal and by design. The compression chamber is not a full vacuum; some air remains and the bag will slowly re-expand over time.
